itinerary

Day 01 Arrival Kathmandu (1350m) and preparation

We will get you at Tribhuvan International Airport terminal, Kathmandu. You will then be taken to your hotel. In the evening, we will briefly describe you about the peak climbing so that you can prepare accordingly.

Day 02-03 Theoretical session on beginners climbing course

This journey is for the ones who have a knack for high altitudes and natural aesthetics. To make the journey as inclusive and approachable as possible, we will have a session where we will make you clear about the theoretical nitty-gritties of realizing our journey.

Day 04 Kathmandu to Lukla flight (2840m) and trek to Phakding (2610m) (35 minutes and 3 hours)

A 35 minutes flight from Kathmandu to Lukla will be one of the amazing flights of your life, presenting you stunning perspectives of the mountains. Hike down to Phakding for 3 hours through many tiny villages and submerge yourself in the local culture and the nearby individuals.

Day 05 Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m) (3-4 hours)

Prepare yourselves mentally and physically for the back-breaking hike of around four hours up to the glorious Namche Bazaar. A few minutes into the hike and you’ll encounter groups of hikers, brawny porters, and bushy yaks. Strolling along Dudh Koshi River, we will get a closer view of many majestic mountains including Mt. Everest. Spend a night beneath the stars sipping Tibetan butter tea at the altitude of 3440m.

Day 06 Namche Bazaar- Tengboche (3860m) (5-6 hours)

Namche Bazar is famous as the door to the Himalayas. The day 6 is a 5-6 hours trek that includes up hills and down hills while being mesmerized by what nature has to offer. Having reached to Tengboche, we will visit the Tengboche Monastery, the biggest Buddhist Monastery in the Khumbu region. A sight of monks draped in red and yellow, prayer flags swaying rapidly and the songs of the priests is fairly engaging.

Day 07 Tengboche- Dingboche (4410m) (5-6 hours)

Enjoying nearer views of Ama Dablam, the 7th day also includes 5-6 hours of trek. We will pass through small villages observing their lifestyle and culture. Walking through the forests and hearing the sounds of the Dudh Koshi, we will enter the Imja Valley. The resting point of the day is at Dingboche.

Day 08 Dingboche to Pokhalde Base Camp (4300m) (4-5 hours)

This day includes 4-5 hours of steep climb bringing us to the Pokhalde Peak base camp. The short climb gives us time to acclimatize to the altitude. A large circular lake near Kongma Pass can be seen from Pokhalde Peak base camp. The Kongma glacier is also a spot for learning ice climbing skills. Be ready to be bewildered by the glorious views of the Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Makalu and several other remarkable mountains.

Day 09-11 Practical session on beginners climbing course

After reaching the base-camp, we will complement the earlier gained theoretical knowledge with practical sessions. By now, you would also have gained quite a considerable experience of travelling through unprecedented altitudes.

Day 12 Pokhalde Peak Base Camp – High Camp (5,000m) (4-5 hours)

Today, we move closer to the Pokalde peak. First, we pass through the well-known Kongma La pass. Frozen lakes are a luring sight not to be missed. The 4-5 hours trail also presents us with stunning views of Cholatse, Nuptse, Lhotse, Makalu, Ama Dablam and several other peaks in the Everest region.

Day 13 High Camp – Summit Pokhalde Peak – Back to Dingboche (4,200m) (8-9 hours)

This day can be regarded as the climax of the whole trek as we will ascend the Pokhalde Peak. The day is very challenging and requires 8-9 hours trek. Conquering the summit will present you with a panoramic sight to behold. We will head back to Dingboche after ascending the summit. How about surfing the internet with a cup of warm butter tea, at the only internet café in the Khumbu region for tonight?

Day 14 Dingboche – Tengboche (3860m) (5-6 hours)

We retrace our tracks back to Tengboche with a relaxing downhill trek. Take a day to rejuvenate with a nice and hot shower. Going through the rhododendron forest, the plummet won't be as troublesome as the rising.

Day 15 Tengboche – Namche Bazaar (3440m) (5-6 hours)

As you descent from Tengboche to Namche Bazar, you will not realize how five hours pass so quickly. Mostly downhill, you will enjoy the walk back to Namche Bazar to the best. Explore what we didn’t the last time we stayed here. A gathering at one of the numerous bars in festivity of the fruition of the 15 days trek sounds like a smart thought.

Day 16 Namche Bazaar – Lukla (2,840m)( 5 hours)

A five-hour trek from Namche Bazaar will take you back to Lukla where you can enjoy the beauty of the Himalayas and relax. Get your final glimpses of the amazing Himalayan region and absorb the crisp air one last time.

Day 17 Lukla to Kathmandu flight & transfer to hotel (35 minutes flight)

The trip has eventually come to an end with a short flight back to the buzzing about of the capital. Our representatives will be there to receive and escort you to the hotel. Finally, a good time to relax and add some zest to our worn-out bodies.

Day 18 Transfer to the international airport for final departure
