itinerary

Day 01 Arrival to Kathmandu (1,350m)

Upon your landing in Kathmandu, we will get you at the air terminal and drop you at your hotel.

Day 02-03 Theoretical session on Nirvana climbing course

A theoretical session on Nirvana climbing course will be conducted on the 2nd and 3rd day at Kathmandu. This session will make you familiar with various aspects of climbing and will give you a thought of the entire climb.

Day 04 Fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara (827m)(25minutes)

and drive to Tatopani (1,190m) (8 hours) We will fly to Pokhara from Kathmandu, which will take around 25 minutes. From Pokhara, 8 hours' drive will take us to Tatopani. At Tatopani, you can enjoy natural hot spring.

Day 05 Drive from Tatopani to Lete (2,480m) (4 hours)

In order to save time for the trek, we will drive from Tatopani to Lete which will take about 4 hours. The route takes after the Kali Gandaki River, out looking into the wonderful view of the hills and the mountains.

Day 06 Trek from Lete to Thulobugin (3,260m) (4 hours)

From Lete, we will move forward to a more alpine climate. In about 4 hours trek, we will reach Thulobugin, where we will spend our nights in tented camp.

Day 07 Trek from Thulobugin to Hum Khola (4,286m) (5-6 hours)

Reaching Hum Khola from Thulobugin will take about 6 hours. Hum Khola is a tributary of Miristi Khola.

Day 08 Trek from Hum Khola to Annapurna I Basecamp (ABC) (4,190m) (6-7 hours)

About 7 hours walk from Hum Khola will take us to Annapurna I Basecamp, so we will have to leave early this day. We will cross Miristi Khola in between. At the base camp, we will have to set camps for the night.

Day 9-11 Practical session on Nirvana climbing course

At the Annapurna I Base Camp, we will conduct our practical sessions. The practical session will last for 3 days, during which, you will learn many important skills and techniques on mountain climbing.

Day 12-47 Climbing period (Basecamp –Annapurna I summit (8,091m)-Basecamp)

35 days of our journey will be devoted to a successful climb of Annapurna I. Within these 35 days, we will trek from ABC to the summit and then return to the base camp. There will be four camps above the base camp at an elevation of about 5100 m, 5900 m, 6700 m, and 7100 m. We will climb slowly, acclimatizing to the altitude and analyzing the weather well. As we reach the summit, we can see a vast ocean of mountains floating above the clouds. Gangapurna, Machhapuchhre, Annapurna II, III, IV, Dhaulagiri are some of the peaks we can see from the top.

Day 48 Trek from Annapurna I Basecamp to Thulobugin (3260m) (6-7 hours)

Having achieved what we came for, we will trace our way back to Thulobugin from Annapurna I Base Camp. As descends are quite easier than ascends, we will not spend our night at Hum Khola.

Day 49 Trek from Thulobugin to Lete (2480m) (4 hours)

From Thulobugin, we will walk towards the village of Lete, enjoying all the beauties we had enjoyed before.

Day 50 Trek from Lete to Tatopani (1190m)(4 hours)

While returning, we will trek from Lete to Tatopani, a route we had previously driven through. So, we can savor all the serene environment we had missed before.

Day 51 Drive from Lete to Tatopani (4 hours)

We will drive from Lete to Tatopani which will take about 4 hours. Tatopani is famous for its hot spring water, enjoy the warmth of natural hot spring and relax.

Day 52 Drive from Tatopani to Pokhara (827m) (5 hours walk and 2 hours’ drive)

First, we will walk from Tatopani to Beni, which will take about 5 hours. Then from Beni, a 2 hours' drive will take us to Pokhara. At Pokhara, we can enjoy the lakeside during the evening.

Day 53 Fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu (1350m) (35 minutes)

On the 53rd day, we will fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu. With lots of spare time during the day, we can visit some important tourist sites at Kathmandu or Pokhara (based on flight timing).

Day 54 Final departure

We will drop you at the airport on the last day of your stay in Nepal.
