course overview

Every mountain climber who successfully ascends the peak will have conquered their fear, and achieved their dreams. But we bet, you can do more than that! Enrolling yourselves into the Post Advanced Climbing Course, you can learn while making memories and master your skills while fulfilling your dreams.

Among many mountains in the Himalayan Range, completing a Post Advance Climbing Course in the Himlung Himal will add a bright feather on your hat, and make you ready for the Everest. Residing in the Manang district, Himlung Himal is 7126 m in altitude. It falls in the Manaslu Region towards the Northeastern part of Annapurna Range. Located on the Tibetan border, the villages (e.g. Nar and Phu) in the proximity of Himlung Himal have rich Tibetan culture.

Climbing the Himlung Himal is technically easy compared to other peaks of similar height. Nevertheless, its remote location, altitude, and demand of strength will put forth challenges you will thoroughly enjoy.

The best season for the climb is spring (April to May) and autumn (September to October), during which time, the weather is not harsh. It will take a total of 39 days from your arrival at Kathmandu in order to complete the post advanced climbing course at Himlung Peak, and each day is worth every penny.

As you soar above the clouds, you can witness the Api Himal, Annapurna range, Mt. Gangapurna, Tilicho Peak, Pisang Peak and numerous other snow-topped mountains cresting over the mists as well. During the journey, you will come across many beautiful natural elements like forests, glaciers, natural springs, Gumbas, and monasteries, which will give you a boost of energy.
