itinerary

Day 01 Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel (1300m)

With your arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport, we will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel.

Day 02 Theoretical session on a post-advance climbing course:

On the 2nd day, you will be given a theoretical session on post-advanced climbing. The session will be held at Kathmandu.

Day 03 Drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar (760m)(6-7 hours)

After a short class, we will leave for Besisahar, which will take about 6 hours to reach by bus. From the bus, we can see the Marsayangdi River flowing. We will enter the Annapurna Conservation Area on the 3rd day.

Day 04 Drive from Besisahar to Koto (2-3 hours) (2600m)

From Besisahar, we will drive through rugged roads to reach Koto. We will pass villages like Dharapani, Bagarchhap, and Timang, and will enjoy the far view of Lamjung Himal.

Day 05 Trek from Koto to Meta (3560m) (7-8 hours)

Our trekking venture starts from the fifth day, where we climb through the inadequately populated course for 7-8 hours. We will go through the Nar and Phu valleys, delightful woods, give in waterfalls, and numerous progressively and in the long run achieve Meta.

Day 06 Trek from Meta to Kyang (3840m) (3-4 hours)

The trek from Meta to Kyang is fairly short, about 3 hours, giving us a good time to enjoy the rural villages and the wild nature. Situated on a plateau, we can get a glimpse of Tibet at Kyang. The night will be sent under the open sky, in the tents.

Day 07 Trek from Kyang to Phu Gaun (3900m) (3-4 hours)

It also takes about 3 hours to reach Phu Gaun from Kyang. Though short, this day will be an enchanting trek, giving you peaceful feels of Buddhism. You will know that you have reached the Phu Gaun once you reach the 'Phu Gate".

Day 08 Phu Gaun to Himlung Base Camp (4900m) (4-5 hours)

From Phu Gaun, it takes around 4 hours to come to the Himlung Base Camp. The Base Camp lies close to the southern side of the Pangri Glacier.

Day 9-11 Practical session on a post-advance climbing course

At the Himlung Base Camp, you will learn mountain climbing practically, under the open classroom of the Himalayas. The post advanced practical climbing sessions will take place for 3 days.

Day 12-27 Climbing period Himlung Summit (7126m) and base camp:

In a period of 15 days, you will head forward from the Himlung Base Camp to the summit and back to the base camp. This is the most intense period of the whole trek, where you will achieve what you had come for. Three camps will be set in between. We will move forward slowly, taking care of our strength, health, and the climate.

Day 28 Trek from Basecamp to Phu Gaun (3900m)(5-6 hours)

With a new achievement in our crowns, we head slowly towards from Phu Gaun from the Basecamp. Going back through the paths, we will enjoy the beauty twice.

Day 29 Trek from Phu Gaun to Meta (3560m) (6-7 hours)

Since descends are quite easier, we will reach Meta directly from Phu Gaun, without stopping at Kyang.

Day 30 Trek from Meta to Koto (2600m) (7-8 hours)

We proceed with our trek as we plunge into a valley. We will likewise cross the Seti Khola, and experience couple of all the tougher uphills and downhills before achieving Koto.

Day 31 Trek from Koto to Besisahar (760m) (5-6 hours)

While returning, we will trek from Koto to Besisahar instead of a drive. A 5-6 hours trek will allow us to catch up with all the beauties we had missed before.

Day 32 Drive from Besisahar to Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel (6-7 hours)

On the 38th day, we will return to Kathmandu from Besisahar by bus. You will be dropped at your hotel.

Day 33 Final departure:

We will drop you at the airport on the departure day.
