itinerary

Day 01 International arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel (1350m)

You will land in the capital city, Kathmandu and our agents will help you in your exchange to the Hotel. Kathmandu is a city of hearty culture and heritage, which you will have the capacity to encounter firsthand. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 02-03 Theoretical session on basic climbing course

An expert will guide you on the basics of climbing through a theoretical session. You will learn basic layman terms of climbing as well as the theoretical use of different equipment you will require on your journey. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 04 Drive from Kathmandu to Syange/Jagat (1330m) (8-10 hours)

You will be taking a comfortable ride from Kathmandu to Jagat via Syange. Jagat is a village that lies on the north-eastern part of Nepal around 8 to 10 hours away from the capital city. Overnight in Jagat.

Day 05 Trek Syange/Jagat to Dharapani (1960m) (7-8 hours)

From Jagat, you will take a trekking trail to Dharapani, a small village which lies 7 to 8 hours away. The small cobbled paths of Dharapani village is a delight to walk through, especially with a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains in the background. Overnight in Dharapani.

Day 06 Trek Dharapani-Chame (2710m) (6-7 hours)

Take a trail from Dharapani to Chame through forests that offer you a closer look at the diverse flora and fauna of this region. Chame lies around 7 hours from Dharapani at an altitude of 2710m. Overnight in Chame.

Day 07 Trek Chame-Pisang (3210m) (5-6 hours)

Take a trail from Chame to Pisang, a small village which lies 5 to 6 hours away. In Pisang, not exclusively, will you have the capacity to watch the nearby Buddhist culture, however, you will have the chance to see a dazzling view of Lamjung Himal. Overnight in Pisang.

Day 08 Trek Upper Pisang-Manang (3500m) (6-7 hours)

From Upper Pisang, you will take a trail that will take you to Manang, a small town that lies on an elevation of 3500m. This place mainly caters to trekkers who travel around the Annapurna range. The rough terrain with the extraordinary view of mountain ranges is a great sight to see. Overnight in Manang.

Day 09 Trek Manang to Leder (4200m) (4-5 hours)

From Manang, take a trail to Leder which lies on an elevation of 4200m. The trail will take 4 to 5 hours to tackle. Overnight in Leder.

Day 10 Trek Leder to Chulu West Base Camp (4900m) (4-5 hours)

From Leder, you will trek to Chulu West Base Camp which lies on a rise of 4900m. Following 4 to 5 hours of trekking, you will touch base at the Base Camp which offers you a perfect view of the Annapurna range. Overnight in Chulu West Base Camp.

Day 11-13 Practical session on basic’ climbing course

You will take a practical session on basic’ climbing course. You will be instructed by our climbing expert who will ensure that you are completely prepared to finish your excursion to Chulu West Peak.

Day 14 Chulu West Base Camp to Camp I (5100m) (4-5 hours)

You will be climbing up to Camp I which lies on an elevation of 5100m. This climb will take you 4 to 5 hours. Overnight at Camp I.

Day 15 Rest and Acclimatization at Camp I

You will spend the day resting and getting used to the atmosphere of the high mountains. Acclimatization is exceptionally vital for your body to get used to the cruel climate conditions and counteract elevation affliction. Overnight at Camp I.

Day 16 Camp I to Camp II (5530m) (4-5 hours)

Climb up to Camp II which lies 4 to 5 hours away at an altitude of 5530m. An energizing view of the encompassing mountains will go with you all through. Overnight in Camp II.

Day 17 Summit Chulu West and back to Camp I (6419m) (9-10 hours)

You will move up to the summit of Chulu West. Standing at an altitude of 6419m, you will able to see the magnificent view of mountain ranges that stretch till the horizon. You will walk back to Camp I. Overnight in Camp I.

Day 18 Camp I to Leder (4200m) (5-6 hours)

You will take a trail once again from Camp I to Leder. This will take you 5 to 6 hours. Overnight in Leder.

Day 19 Leder to Thorong Phedi (4450m) (3-4 hours)

From Leder, you will trek till Thorong Phedi. As you walk along your path, you will come across grazing lands where locals herd their yaks for grazing. This trail will take you 3 to 4 hours to tackle. Overnight in Thorong Phedi.

Day 20 Thorong Phedi-Thorong Pass (5416m)-Muktinath (3800m)-Jomsom (2715m)(7-8 hours)

In 7 to 8 hours, not only will you trek till Thorong Pass but you will visit the revered Muktinath temple and take a comfortable ride till Jomsom. Thorong is an incredible mountain pass lying on an altitude of 5416m. Muktinath is a consecrated place venerated by the two Hindus and Buddhists, as it has the high significance in both the religions. Jomsom is a small town on the banks of Kali Gandaki River. This town offers an unbelievable view of Dhaulagiri Himal and Nilgiri Himal. Overnight in Jomsom.

Day 21 Jomsom to Pokhara by flight (35 minutes)

Take a short flight from Jomsom to Pokhara. You can have a night of unwinding and loosening up by the Lakeside which offers you a shocking view of the Phewa Tal. You can likewise go for a walk around the place. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 22 Drive back to Kathmandu (6-7 hours)

Take a comfortable drive back to the capital city Kathmandu. This adventure will take you up to 6 to 7 hours. Overnight in Kathmandu.
