itinerary

Day 01 Arrival in Kathmandu (1350m)

You will arrive in Kathmandu. Our team will aid you to reach the hotel. Kathmandu offers a wide perspective of history, culture, and tradition that you can observe in the duration of your stay. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 02-03 Theoretical session on advanced climbing course

You will be given a theoretical session on advanced climbing course by an expert. This session is important as it equips you with the necessary theoretical knowledge to move forth with your journey.

Day 04 Fly Kathmandu to Lukla (2860m) and trek to Phakding (2610m) ( 35 minute flight and 2-3 hours walk)

Take a flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. Lukla is a small town that lies at an altitude of 2860m. It is a popular rest stop for the travelers en route to Everest ranges. From Lukla, take a trail to Phakding, a small village that lies north of Lukla. Overnight in Phakding.

Day 05 Phakding to Namche Bazar (3440m) (5-6 hours)

From Phakding, you will take a trail to Namche Bazar. This village lies on the sides of a slope, with a gorgeous backdrop of two mountains- Kongde Ri and Thamserku. Overnight in Namche Bazar.

Day 06 Namche Bazar to Dole (4038m) (5-6 hours)

Take a trail to Dole from Namche Bazar. Dole is a small village located in the Dudh Kosi Valley, on an altitude of 4038m. Overnight in Dole.

Day 07 Dole to Machermo (4470m) (5-6 hours)

Take a trail from Dole to Machermo. Lying on a height of 4470m, Machermo is a little town. It lies just beneath Ngozumpa glacier, the longest icy mass in the Himalayas. Overnight in Machermo.

Day 08 Machermo to Gokyo (4750m) (5-6 hours)

From Machermo, take a trail towards Gokyo. Gokyo is a little town on the base of Gokyo Ri. It lies at a height of 4750m. Because of its height, it is thought to be one of the most amazing spots for human settlement on the planet. Overnight in Gokyo.

Day 09 Gokyo to Basecamp (5030m)

From Gokyo, we will advance towards the Burkhe Khang Base Camp. The base camp lies at an altitude of 5030m, with a clear view of Burkhe Khang and its surrounding mountains. Overnight in Base Camp.

Day 10-12 Practical session on advanced climbing course

We have a total of 3 days which will be utilized in taking a practical session on advanced climbing course. This course will help you put the prior obtained theoretical knowledge into practice. It will ensure that you have the proper practical knowledge to complete your journey.

Day 13 Climb to Camp 1 (5,547m)

You will start your climb towards Camp 1 from the Base Camp. Camp 1 lies at an altitude of 5547m. Overnight in Camp I.

Day 14 Rest day

Today will be a rest day not only to gain back your strength and vigor but also to get used to the climate of the high mountain air.

Day 15 Climb to Camp 2 (6156m)

You will start your climb from Camp 1 to Camp 2. Camp 2 lies on an elevation of 6156m. Overnight in Camp 2.

Day 16 Rest day

Once again, you will take a rest day for acclimatization purposes as well. Acclimatization is necessary as it prevents cases of altitude sickness.

Day 17 Burkhe Khang summit and return to Camp 1 (6942m)

You will ascend towards the summit of Burkhe Khang. The peak stands at an elevation of 6942m. From the peak, you will have a radiant perspective of the encompassing mountain ranges. You will also start descending down the mountaintop towards Camp 1.

Day 18 Return to Base Camp (5,030m)

You will descend back towards the Base Camp from Camp 1. Overnight in Base Camp.

Day 19 Helicopter Fly to Lukla (35 minutes)

Take a flight back to Lukla. You can spend your spare time exploring the town and interacting with the locals. Overnight in Lukla.

Day 20 Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu (1350m) (35 minutes)

From Lukla, you will take a flight back to Kathmandu. You can spend the evening walking around the busy streets of Kathmandu, exploring the city and its culture. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 21 Final Departure

Our representatives will aid you in your departure from the airport. Congratulations! Your journey has come to a successful end.
